Ampact's Reading Corps is seeking Reading Tutors to support students at a local Minnesota school. You will deliver proven reading activities, coach students during 20-minute sessions, and follow a daily schedule to maximize learning outcomes.

Ideal candidates are dependable, follow instructions, and communicate in English. Full-time AmeriCorps roles offer a stipend, health insurance, and loan forgiveness benefits while serving August 2026 through June 2027.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance and reliability.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
