Job summary

Sylvania in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time 4K Wrap-Around Care Aide to support the 4K Wrap Around Care Program and supervise recess/lunch with hours from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., following the 4K school calendar.

The ideal candidate will show strong interpersonal communication, work well with students, staff, and families, and demonstrate reliability and a caring attitude. A background check is required and experience with young children is encouraged.

4K Wrap-Around Care Aide - WW

Part-time, regular position. 5 hours per day, follows the 4K school calendar, and does not include insurance benefits. Includes working with students in the 4K Wrap-Around Care Program and supervision for recess/lunch times. Hours would be 10:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

With the growing number of participants in the 4K Wrap Around Care Program, an aide is needed to provide support. The successful candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills to work as a team with young students, staff, and community, and must project a positive attitude. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, self-initiative and maintain confidentiality. Those who have experience working with young children are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
• Ability to implement engaging and educational activities that complement the 4K curriculum
• Skilled in promoting positive behavior, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and staff
