Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to connect 3D models with construction schedules, enabling smarter sequencing and planning. You will work on multiple projects with an international team and help advance 4D/5D workflows across design, scheduling, and cost data.

You should have 2+ years in BIM/VDC, hands-on 4D experience, and proficiency with SYNCHRO or Fuzor, Revit, and Navisworks. The role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement of workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Experience with 4D platforms (SYNCHRO or Fuzor), Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they link to models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models that connect 3D elements with schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or comparable tools.
• Prepare/model data structures, including Revit parameters and element coding, for reliable schedule linking.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand methods, evaluate sequencing, and identify constraints and opportunities.
• Create simulations and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate strategy.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team, set priorities, and review deliverables.
• Improve repeatable workflows, troubleshoot data integration, and test automation for speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
• Must have 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Proficient in 4D platforms (SYNCHRO or Fuzor) and Revit/Navisworks.
• Understand construction schedules and Primavera P6 data is valuable.
• Experience organizing model information via Revit parameters and coding.
• Ability to explain technical info clearly and collaborate across disciplines/time zones.
• Curious, quick to learn, and able to troubleshoot detailed work.
• Knowledge of AI tools and workflow optimization is a plus.
