Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension is hiring an Associate 4-H Program Educator who will primarily serve Portage County. This in-person role engages youth and families through the 4-H Community Club program, expanding access to diverse audiences while promoting positive youth development.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating youth programs, providing administrative support, tracking program evaluation, and collaborating with the Youth Development Team.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant work or volunteer experience in youth programming.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across functions, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and data entry (via 4-H Online).
• Track program evaluation and incorporate feedback for improvement.
• Implement initiatives and events for the target audience.
• Procure and maintain course materials and supplies.
• Teach culturally relevant educational programs to adults and youth using learner-centered activities.
• Help design marketing materials and promotions for programs.
