Utah State University Extension is seeking a detail-oriented Program Assistant I to support the Weber County 4-H team. This role emphasizes recruiting and supporting volunteers, strengthening 4-H clubs, coordinating events, and helping youth and families access diverse 4-H opportunities.

The position collaborates with the Weber County 4-H Program Coordinator and staff, contributing to program priorities and ensuring sustainable, engaging youth development experiences.

Formación

• Aptitude is required.
• Experience working with youth, volunteers, education, recreation, Extension, or related activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Weber County 4-H Team Support: work with the Weber County 4-H team to achieve goals and priorities.
• Volunteer Recruitment and Support: recruit and onboard volunteers, maintain regular communication.
• Club Development and Support: assist with development and sustainability of community clubs.
• Youth and Family Support: connect youth and families with clubs, projects, and events.
• Program and Event Coordination: plan and coordinate county 4-H activities and events.
• Program Communication and Administrative Support: handle communications and records, follow policies.
