The University of Tennessee Extension Anderson County is seeking an Extension Program Assistant to support 4-H Youth Development education. This onsite role supports up to 40 hours weekly under the County Extension Director and lead 4-H Agent to deliver approved programs for youth audiences.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, evaluating, and reporting on youth development activities; coordinating events and committees; recruiting and training volunteer leaders; and staying current

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of related experience desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and WordPerfect.
• Teaching skills with youth and/or adults.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, executes, and evaluates 4-H Youth Development programs.
• Implements, evaluates, and reports on 4-H programs related to organization, leadership, sponsorship, etc.
• Assumes responsibility for all youth projects, activities, shows, events and committees.
• Secures and trains volunteer leaders and serves as an educational resource for youth programs.
