Job summary

Omni Charlotte Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead guestroom and public area cleaning to Omni four diamond standards in Charlotte, NC. You will inspect rooms, coordinate staff, and ensure supplies and linens are readily available.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in housekeeping, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory/coordinating experience in housekeeping.
• Maintain Omni 4-Diamond cleanliness standards.
• Ability to collaborate with management on special projects.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensure that Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Assist in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
• Assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Ensure linen cart is neat and well organized.
• Keep linen closets stocked on guest room floors.
• Maintain supply cage stock, neat and clean.
• Punch in guest rooms via the phone after completion.
• Ensure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.
• Prioritize check-out/vacated rooms.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
• Attend required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
