Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies, a leader in precision components for aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors, seeks a highly motivated 4/5 Axis Machinist. You will operate and set up 4/5-axis milling machines, read and interpret travelers, blueprints, and schematics, and ensure first-pass quality for mission-critical parts.

Strong aerospace background and GD&T proficiency are essential. Responsibilities include inspecting components, supporting programming, and maintaining a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• Aerospace manufacturing experience: 10 yrs minimum.
• Ability to read, interpret, and interrogate complex technical drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating 4/5-axis CNC milling machines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components for conformance to specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (4/5-axis).
• Support programming and tool usage.
• Work from travelers, blueprints, and setup sheets with limited supervision.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges to measure.
