The Planet Group in New Haven, CT is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily mailroom, shipping, receiving, and supply management in an office/warehouse setting. This 4-5 month contract role offers extension or conversion likelihood and requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include receiving and distributing mail, preparing domestic and international shipments, tracking packages, and maintaining inventory and reporting records. Entry-level candidates are welcome.

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Pack and prepare materials for domestic and international shipment.
• Apply postage, weigh, sort, and stage shipments.
• Track shipments and assist with damaged or misdirected packages.
• Maintain shipping/postal equipment and supplies.
• Manage inventory, restocking, and supply distribution.
• Support mass-mailing activities and address verification.
• Maintain usage records and prepare monthly reports.
