Job summary

CVS Health in Lakeland, FL is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will work under a preceptor, complete a training roadmap, and support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate service and caring patient interactions.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, immunizations, counseling when appropriate, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must have/ be pursuing intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Adhere to SOPs, learn workflow procedures, and support immunizations and other services.
• Counsel patients where appropriate under supervision, manage basic inventory and cycle counts.
• Provide empathetic, high‑quality patient interactions and maintain patient privacy.
