Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and apply didactic learning to real-world practice. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, participate in immunizations where allowed, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include learning SOPs, assisting with patient counseling, and contributing to a culture of care and compliance while traveling to stores

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Enrollment in a program to qualify for Pharmacy Intern role.

Responsibilities

• Regular and reliable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate customer service and assist patients with questions.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling under supervision where allowed.
• Follow all SOPs and store policies to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Assist in inventory tasks and maintain accurate records as directed.

Education

ACPE accredited college of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure in progress
