Job summary

CVS Health in Indiana is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within a CVS Pharmacy team. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, and participate in immunization and other patient care services as allowed by state law.

You will learn SOPs, support store operations, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture while preparing for advancement to a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute day’s supply and prescription quantities
• Problem Resolution: identify and resolve patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs as needed
