Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in Indianapolis. You will participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, focusing on patient care, immunizations, and safe prescription fulfillment, under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and technicians.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, and adherence to SOPs while offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all pharmacy workflow areas in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• This part-time position is eligible for a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key patient care and KLEs under supervision.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and counseling under supervision where state law allows.
• Maintain high self-awareness and coach/train team members as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by pharmacy leadership.
