Job summary

Component Repair Technologies is seeking a Waterjet Strip Operator in Mentor, OH. You will train in waterjet strip processes using a CNC robot to remove coatings from turbine engine components.

You’ll work in a climate‑controlled, modern facility with extensive in‑house training and growth opportunities. As you gain skills, responsibilities increase, including hands‑on operation and collaboration with experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand step‑by‑step processes.
• Experience using basic measuring devices, such as scales, micrometers, and calipers.
• Familiarity with general shop math.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Set up and prepare components using work instructions and computer aided programs.
• Operate the CNC controlled robot to perform waterjet operations and monitor the process.
• Load and unload components with overhead cranes and other equipment.
• Monitor CNC program for proper execution and adjust as needed.
• Evaluate surfaces to verify complete coverage and quality of surface treatments.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on waterjet equipment.
