Job summary

Component Repair Technologies seeks a Waterjet Strip Operator to train in waterjet stripping using a CNC robot to remove coatings from turbine engine components. The role includes hands-on training, safety adherence, and progression to greater responsibilities within a modern, climate-controlled facility.

The position offers in-house training, growth opportunities, and exposure to multiple equipment types, with a pathway to increased responsibilities as skills advance.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to understand step-by-step processes.
• Experience with basic measuring devices (calipers/micrometers/scales).
• Familiarity with general shop math.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Set up components and program work scope on the CNC system.
• Operate the CNC-controlled robot for waterjet stripping and monitor for accuracy.
• Load/unload components using overhead cranes and handling equipment.
• Maintain and inspect waterjet equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Record and verify process parameters and product quality.
