Job summary

Red Gold is seeking a warehouse supervisor in Indiana to oversee daily operations, including training, compliance, and safety protocols. The role involves supervising a team, coordinating shift changes, and collaborating with auditors to uphold HACCP standards.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience in supervision or management, with 2-4 years of supervisory warehousing experience and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with auditors to ensure guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Train and follow up with employees.
• Administer disciplinary action to direct reports.
• Inspect the warehouse to keep it clean and safe and ensure quality, rotation and accuracy policies are followed.
• Manage shift changes to be efficient and timely.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipping documents; coach employees.
• Assist the DC Manager in security and fire safety issues.

• Ensure that accurate timely processing of documents occurs
• coach employees who need help

Requirements for Success:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Supervision, Business, Management
• 2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly
• Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems
• Must display initiative and ingenuity
• On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
• Teamwork
