Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily assignments, document logs, and process improvements. You will work with auditors, train staff, and enforce guidelines to maintain safety and quality in the warehouse environment.

The role requires 4+ years of supervisory experience in warehousing, strong communication, and the ability to lead changes efficiently. You will support shipping, security, and safety initiatives while managing a team of 9–12 direct reports.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent in supervision, business, or management.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in warehousing or plant environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think independently and make quick decisions.
• Sense of urgency with proactive problem solving.
• Demonstrates initiative and ingenuity.
• On-the-job training under HACCP Coordinator.
• Strong teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Log daily warehouse activities and assign tasks.
• Suggest process improvements and monitor adherence.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Train employees and provide follow-up coaching.
• Administer disciplinary actions for direct reports as needed.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with quality policies.
• Manage shift changes efficiently and timely.
• Process shipping documents accurately and coach staff.
• Assist DC Manager with security and fire safety issues.

Job description

What You'll Do:

Manage Daily Assignments

• Log daily warehouse activities
• Suggest possible process improvements
• Work with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are always followed
• Train and follow up with employees
• Administer disciplinary action to direct reports

Inspection of Warehouse

• Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and free from injuries
• Ensure that the quality, rotation and accuracy policies are always adhered to
• Manage shift change to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and timely fashion

Follow-up with Shipping Documents

• Ensure that accurate timely processing of documents occurs
• coach employees who need help

Assisting DC Manager in Security and Fire Safety Issues

Requirements for Success:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Supervision, Business, Management

• 2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
