Job summary

Ardent Mills in Colton, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee packing, warehouse and loading operations with a focus on safety and quality. You will mentor hourly staff, drive process improvements (5S, Centerlining, PM), and partner with EHS and Food Safety experts to ensure compliance and efficient production.

The role requires a 4-year production background and leadership experience in industrial settings, with ability to work rotating schedules and read

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 4 years of production experience.
• 3+ years' leadership in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated understanding of safety hazards and protocols.
• Understanding of computerized maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations for packing, warehouse and loading.
• Collaborates with EHS and Food Safety experts to enforce safety policies.
• Monitors production outcomes to meet safety and quality specs.
• Leads process improvement initiatives (5S, Centerlining, PM).
• Partners with plant management to meet efficiency targets.
• Plans for future workforce needs and participates in hiring.
• Counts inventory, investigates discrepancies, and takes corrective actions.
• Engages and coaches hourly employees.
