Job summary

O'Neal Steel is seeking a 3rd shift Loader for our Ft. Wayne, IN facility. You will load and unload material using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment, ensuring accurate product handling and safety.

Responsibilities include reading orders, coordinating with drivers, maintaining efficient loads, and complying with DOT weight regulations. Prior material handling experience preferred; background check and drug test required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment, including forklift and overhead crane.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills with attention to safety.
• Ability to load multi-stop orders and verify accuracy of material and quantities.
• Must read measurements accurately and maintain safe, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using forklifts, cranes, and related equipment.
• Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and order accuracy for shipments.
• Maintain safety and organization in the work area and comply with procedures.
• Learn product knowledge and rigging procedures across all products.
• Interact with internal/external customers to provide quality service.
