O'Neal Steel in Shelbyville, IN is hiring a Material Handler on 2nd shift (2 pm–10 pm, Mon–Fri). You will load and unload materials, move them within the warehouse using forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, and hand trucks, and ensure accurate handling in a fast-paced metal distribution facility.

Candidates should be able to read a tape measure, operate various material handling equipment, and follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift and overhead crane.
• Use a range of hand tools such as grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver and wrench.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload material within a warehouse.
• Move material to and from trucks or trains and within storage areas using appropriate equipment.
• Follow pre-established guidelines; primary duties do not require independent judgment.
