Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Supervisor (3rd shift) in Byhalia, MS. Onsite role leading receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping activities with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

You will supervise a team, use Blue Yonder WMS for orders and inventory, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with Lean/Six Sigma tools. 3+ years in distribution or manufacturing supervision required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years distribution or manufacturing supervision experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and communicate workload, staffing assignments and service priorities.
• Supervise warehouse associates and ensure adherence to schedule and procedures.
• Use the WMS to track orders, inventory and labor; maintain records and shift reports.
• Train/coach Team Leaders on duties and standards.
• Conduct performance appraisals for hourly staff.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities.
• Hold daily shift handoff meetings for continuity.
• Lead safe work practices and incident reporting with site HSE leader.
• Participate in facility-wide improvement projects.
