Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead in our warehouse for the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11:00pm–7:30am) in Texas. You will oversee your team and area to ensure operations run smoothly, providing coaching and development to staff and maintaining inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.

The role requires minimum 2 years in a warehouse setting, 1 year of SAP experience, and familiarity with WMS and handheld scanners. Health, retirement, and disability benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 1 year of SAP experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvement actions
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
• Safely operate equipment and tools
• Provide support to warehouse management
• Track orders and investigate problems
• Catalog and track goods and supplies
• Maintain a clean environment per the 7S program
• Work safely to protect yourself and teammates
