Job summary

U.S. Lumber, a Specialty Building Products brand, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the third shift. The role involves hands-on supervision of warehouse activities and collaboration with the team to meet safety, accuracy, and schedule goals.

You will direct daily tasks, ensure compliance with PPE and safety rules, and communicate issues to management. The position requires prior supervisory experience and a strong focus on safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, lumber, or building products preferred.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to give clear direction and communicate professionally.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer use and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Assign work, monitor workflow, and maintain daily priorities.
• Ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Provide daily direction and support to warehouse staff.
• Maintain safety policies, PPE compliance, and workplace expectations.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, equipment issues, attendance or conduct concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate delays, order issues, and inventory concerns to management.
• Support communication between shifts, departments, and team members.
• Assist with documentation and attendance updates as needed.
