Job summary

Burke is seeking a Warehouse Department Lead for the 3rd shift at our Fond du Lac, WI headquarters. This role leads daily warehouse operations, coaches a team, and drives safe, efficient production of playground equipment for communities worldwide.

You will manage staffing, monitor workflow, and report on daily performance while upholding 6S cleanliness and high-quality standards. A distribution center background and ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years in a distribution center setting; leadership preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and set up daily shift work and staffing.
• Lead shift meetings and cross-department coordination.
• Monitor workflow for safe, efficient operations.
• Coach staff on productivity, quality, and safety.
• Troubleshoot operational issues (personnel, inventory, ERP).
• Maintain 6S standards and department cleanliness.
• Summarize daily performance and report results.
