Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is a division of SGB-SMIT Group, an international transformer manufacturer dedicated to energy transition.

We are seeking a focused technician to perform incoming inspections, teardown, and core/coil assembly work in our Oklahoma City facility. Candidates must have a high school diploma, 2 years of manufacturing experience, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Nationwide criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of Transformer.
• Perform teardown and inspection of core and coil assembly.
• Load coils onto core and yoke core form or stack shell form.
• Repair, stack, and re-insulate cores as required.
• Perform jacking of core blocking and insulation.
