Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Systems Control Technician for our Irvine, CA plant. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and inspect plant equipment and automation systems to ensure safe, efficient production.

Role works on the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 9:00pm–5:30am) with starting pay of $48.91/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Training on 1st shift (5:00am–1:30pm) for 3 months to 1 year, with emphasis on safety and process control.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics.
• At least two years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect plant equipment and electrical systems.
• Maintain Fanuc robots, Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, power distribution systems.
• Read electrical schematics, PLC logic, instrumentation diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and system testing for safe, reliable operation.
• Support equipment installations and continuous improvement with safety compliance (LOTO).
