Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Systems Control Technician to support production operations at our Irvine facility. The role involves maintaining plant equipment, electrical systems, and automation controls on the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 9:00pm–5:30am).

Starting pay is $48.91/hour with a $1.00 shift differential and a 3–12 month training period on 1st shift. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Fanuc robots, Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and power distribution, along with reading schematics and instrument

Qualifications

• Two‑year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics field.
• Two years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect plant equipment and automation systems.
• Read electrical schematics and PLC logic to diagnose issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system testing for safe operation.
• Assist with control system programs and document equipment data.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities for projects ensuring safety compliance (LOTO).
• Communicate in English clearly.
