Olympic Steel is seeking a Shotblast Machine Operator for the Plymouth, MN facility. This on-site role handles shotblast operations, ensuring quality and timely delivery while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the production floor.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work 3:00pm–11:00pm on weekdays. Prior laser operation and crane experience are advantageous, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Laser operations experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with safety and quality focus.
• Crane operation knowledge helpful.
• Detail oriented with ability to inspect material per drawings.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate shotblast equipment to meet quality, quantity and delivery targets.
• Perform production support and general housekeeping duties.
• Smooth/finish parts with electronic grinders before/after processing.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
