Job summary

Central Plains Steel in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time warehouse associate for 3rd shift (9:30pm–6:00am) at Plant 1, 3900 N. Comotara. The role focuses on order pulling, material handling, and quality checks to support internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and pass physical requirements.
• Must meet Level 4 Heavy Work capacity.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Able to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation.
• Coordinates and executes material handling.
• Performs quality control inspections.
• Sorts and packages parts as directed.
• Tags material for proper identification and documentation.
• Operates yard truck, forklift, and overhead crane for loading/unloading.
