Specialty Building Products is hiring for 2nd shift Material Handlers at our Kansas City, MO location to support shipping, receiving and stocking warehouse materials. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient warehouse operations.

Typical shift runs 4pm–midnight CST with a pay differential of $1/hour on top of the base $22. Benefits begin after 30 days of employment and include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred, especially in a distributorship.
• Neat and clean appearance and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and railroad cars and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders using a forklift until the order is filled.
• Report shortages or damaged material and coordinate with sales.
• Use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counts per WMS.
• Collaborate with WMS Coordinator and ensure safe shipping practices.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for shipping and load onto trucks safely.
• Follow safety policies and procedures in warehouse duties.
