Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the 3rd shift to support test stations and manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on system-level debugging, fault tracing across RF, digital, and power domains, and sustaining test station uptime. Requires active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, onsite presence, and a 12% shift premium.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Senior Electrical Engineer – 3rd Shift

Location: Andover, MA (350 Lowell St, AN1 Essex Building)

Employment Type: Onsite, 3rd Shift (12% shift premium)

Security Clearance: Secret, Active and existing security clearance required after day 1; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform system level debugging on test fixtures and automated test stations using best practices.

Qualifications
  • • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • • 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
  • • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • • Preferred: Strong electrical background with experience debugging analog, digital, and mixed-signal test equipment and custom test assemblies.
  • • Preferred: RF/Microwave skills – knowledge of industry-standard RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
  • • Preferred: Power systems – knowledge of analog electronics, AC/DC power platforms, and control systems.
  • • Preferred: Experience developing, editing, and improving preventative maintenance and calibration procedures using intuitive techniques and methodologies.
  • • Preferred: Experience with CORE principles or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Benefits & Compensation

Salary Range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (depends on experience, location, education, and key skills). The role includes a 12% shift premium for 3rd shift service.
