Virtua is hiring a security officer for an on-site 3rd shift in Voorhees, NJ. You will safeguard buildings and respond to emergencies, conduct weapon screening with the EVOLV system, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires a HS diploma, at least 2 years of security experience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will document incidents, coordinate with nursing and security teams, and escalate to law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills

Responsabilités

• Perform walking and mobile security rounds and monitor posts.
• Operate weapon screening with EVOLV system and conduct investigations.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors, and law enforcement.
• Escort visitors and staff and verify ID badges and passes.
• Respond to emergencies (CODE Security/ RED) and document incidents.
