Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Team Member to help maintain a clean, hygienic facility for cheese and yogurt production.

You’ll clean production lines, equipment, floors, and rooms using brushes, hoses, and chemical cleaners, following established procedures to meet food safety standards. The role requires reading instructions, basic math, and the ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous packaging machinery experience preferred
• Ability to operate electric pallet jacks
• Reading and interpreting work instructions
• Basic arithmetic skills for processing cleaning records

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility using brushes, hoses and cleaning agents
• Follow cleaning procedures to meet food safety regulations
• Handle and store cleaning agents safely and label containers correctly
• Remove waste and debris from production areas per protocol
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitization
• Monitor CIP/COP tanks test levels daily
• Document cleaning activities and logs
• Adhere to PPE and safety policies
