Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking a Sanitation team member for the 3rd shift in Monroe, WI. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing production areas, equipment, and facilities to meet strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred but not required.
• Safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of all areas in the facility, including production lines, equipment, tools, floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Follow standard cleaning procedures to meet food safety regulations and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Safely handle cleaning agents, sanitizers, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
• Remove waste and debris from production areas according to waste management protocols.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitization.
• Monitor chemical test levels on COP and CIP tanks daily; monitor CIP system parameters.
• Ensure chemical containers are labeled and stored properly.
• Document cleaning activities, logs, checklists, and records as required by regulators and QC standards.
