Job summary

Klondike Cheese Company in Wisconsin is seeking a 3rd shift Yogurt Operator to oversee packaging of bulk yogurt from 11 pm to 3 am, including barrels and totes, and to assist with subsequent packaging into pails and retail cups.

Responsibilities include milk separation, standardizing with powders and cream, pasteurization, CIP, and ferment tank operation, with shifts typically 8–9 hours from 10:00 pm onward, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheese/food industry preferred but not required.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Good attendance record required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: New positions added! $1,000 Sign on Bonus! $1,000 Referral Bonus! 3RD SHIFT PRODUCTION OPERATOR Pay Rates: $19.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 shift premium, will pay more for experienced workers!

Job Duties: The 3rd shift Yogurt Operator will be involved in all operational aspects of yogurt production. The primary duties are to package bulk yogurt (barrels and totes) from approx. 11 pm to 3 am. Following bulk packaging, operator will then help with additional packaging e.g. pails, retail cups, etc. Secondary duties include, but not be limited to, milk separation, standardizing milk with powders and cream, pasteurization, CIP, and ferment tank operation.

Yogurt Shift Hours: 3rd shift: 10:00 pm - until done (typically 8-9 hour shift), Monday Friday, plus occasional Saturday.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Cheese/food industry experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. A good attendance record is required. Candidate must be a team player. Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
