Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a sanitation and equipment maintenance role on the 3rd shift. The position involves cleaning, sanitizing, assembling/disassembling equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment in temperature-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities include using high-pressure hoses, handling sanitation chemicals, and coordinating with Quality Assurance and USDA to uphold SQF 2000. Lifting up to 50 pounds and Lock Out/Tag Out certification are required or pursued on the job.

Qualifications

• Able to work in cold environments (≤35°F) for 8 hours.
• Willing to obtain Tyson Lock Out/Tag Out certification.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience with industrial cleaning and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas and light equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment and set up as needed.
• Operate high-pressure hose and apply sanitation chemicals safely.
• Collaborate with QA and USDA to maintain SQF 2000 standards.
