Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the 3rd shift in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas, disassembly/reassembly of equipment, and use of cleaning tools to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 months of sanitation experience (food manufacturing preferred), and ability to read safety instructions in English.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of sanitation experience; food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and areas.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Use hoses, brushes, scrapers, power washers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
• Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals per procedures.
• Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Inspect work and complete additional cleaning when needed.
• Report equipment damage, safety concerns, or sanitation issues.
• Work as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks on schedule.
• Complete required safety and sanitation training.
