Job summary

OMNI Systems is seeking a Rewind/Packers position for the third shift (Mon–Fri, 10:45 PM–7:15 AM) at the Mayfield Heights facility. The role involves setting up and operating production equipment, packing finished goods, labeling, and conducting quality inspections to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED and experience in packing or warehouse environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and safety guidelines.
• +ability to write simple correspondence.
• Clear communication with team members and leadership when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, including Arpeco machines and rewind tables.
• Stack and organize finished goods for shipment.
• Perform inspections to ensure quality before packaging.
• Pack products securely and label correctly for shipment.
• Identify and remove defective items, report issues to supervisor.
• Transport packages using approved equipment; maintain records of items packed and shipment details.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe; comply with safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
