Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. in Cleveland, TN is seeking an Inspector Packer for the third shift (11:00pm–7:30am). You will inspect finished plastic products for defects, package according to specifications, label packages, and help maintain line efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including sealing and labeling.
• Label packages accurately with product information and warnings as needed.
• Monitor production line efficiency and address packaging or production issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and participate in solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify when supplies are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
