Job summary

ResMed in California is seeking a Reliability and Maintenance Technician Level 2 to apply advanced skills to keep automated manufacturing systems running. You will work with robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and documentation to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong troubleshooting, CAD/IPB reading, and familiarity with Allen Bradley controls; a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Eng or technical training plus 3+ years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Excellent technical knowledge of automated equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-based systems in high-volume environments
• Proficient in pneumatics and electrical systems
• Able to read CAD IPB diagrams and electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving and independent multi-tasking
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley controls preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and manage hazards
• Maintain preventative maintenance plans for automated equipment
• Keep PM documentation up to date in Quality System
• Escalate abnormal or critical situations to management
• Troubleshoot problems using blueprints and schematics
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as developed
