Job summary

AtWork Personnel in Henderson, NV is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Supervisor to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will investigate complaints, guide root cause analyses and support production with troubleshooting to minimize hazards.

Responsibilities include supervising quality staff, maintaining QA documentation, coordinating with other departments, and training direct reports while ensuring compliance with GMP, CFR 117, and SQF plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in science; Food Science/Biology preferred.
• GMP and CFR 117 experience required.
• Experience with GFSI audits preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle/JDE/SAP) a plus.
• Knowledge of organic/kosher/gluten-free regs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality staff including training, planning and performance reviews.
• Assist in developing product specifications and quality objectives.
• Coordinate quality objectives with production, warehousing and other depts.
• Direct inspection and testing to ensure control over materials and products.
• Investigate customer complaints and prepare reports.
• Maintain Quality Manual and SQF Plan, and oversee preventive controls.
• Prepare sampling packages and oversee testing programs.
• Troubleshoot on the production floor to minimize hazards.
