Ventura Foods seeks a QA leader to direct daily quality assurance activities at our Ontario, CA facility. You will oversee staff, review HACCP docs, perform audits, and issue Certificates of Analysis as needed to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards.

You will partner with the QA Manager to investigate customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and drive improvements in processing and finished product quality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, quality systems, and sanitation requirements for a food manufacturing facility.
• Problem solving, high attention to detail, self-motivation.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Directs day-to-day QA functions to ensure products meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review HACCP and production documentation for final release; monitor QA audits; issue Certificates of Analysis as needed.
• Coordinate with QA Manager to investigate and resolve customer complaints and food safety issues; implement corrective actions.
• Initiate QA holds for finished products, ingredients, and packaging; communicate dispositions and rework/disposal guidelines.
• Collaborate with management to develop quality improvements in processing and finished product quality.
• Participate in development, implementation, and training of new policies and programs at local site.
• Review incoming ingredients and packaging against specifications and COAs before release.
• Review micro results and environmental swabs; initiate corrective actions as required.
• Assist in third-party audits and facility follow-ups with production management.
