Job summary

POM Wonderful in Buttonwillow, CA is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for the 2nd shift to supervise QA functions and maintain food safety systems, including HACCP and FSMA compliance.

Responsibilities include testing, recordkeeping, staff training, and providing technical support to QA personnel and production teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with state specific food safety laws and the biology of micro-organisms.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations based upon research outcomes.
• A logical thinker with an enquiring mind, and knowledge in biological sciences.

Responsibilities

• Quality and Food Safety: Develop, implement and maintain QFS systems for compliance.
• Special Projects: Lead analyses during the season focusing on Arils process.
• HARPC (FSMA)/HACCP: Support FSMA/HACCP programs and monitor CCPs.
