Job summary

IQE is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee epitaxial materials production and monitor the manufacturing process. The role focuses on coordinating the Production team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.

Qualified candidates will have advanced manufacturing experience, a 2‑year technical degree or equivalent, and exposure to Six Sigma/Lean tools. The team works closely with other departments and requires flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Production, Operations or equivalent manufacturing field.
• 6+ years experience in Production, Operations or equivalent desirable.
• Experience supervising teams and managing performance.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Production team; set priorities with cross-departmental supervisors.
• Coordinate and supervise production processes in line with quality standards.
• Lead improvement projects using Six Sigma or Lean methods.
• Ensure documentation of safe working practices is maintained.
• Foster teamwork and escalate issues to meet targets.
• Mentor Operators and Technicians in manufacturing processes.
