Job summary

IQE is seeking an experienced MBE Process Engineer to lead efficient, cost-effective MBE reactor operations and supervise day-to-day activities. You will drive process improvements, ensure material quality, and support customers with advanced epitaxy knowledge.

The role requires strong background in epitaxy, data analysis, and collaboration across Planning, Production, and Quality teams to minimize wafer loss and meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Process Engineering or equivalent manufacturing field.
• 7+ years experience in Process Engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or knowledge.
• Reactor (MBE) process knowledge.
• Experience with SPC and recipe editing; reactor maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute epitaxy growth experiments and analyze process data.
• Ensure growth produces high-quality epi-wafers meeting customer specs.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Maintenance and characterization teams.
• Implement Continuous Improvement to increase yield and efficiency.
• Report progress on orders and installations.
• Troubleshoot process issues and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
