Production Supervisor (2nd and 3rd shifts)

Join our team as a Production Supervisor at Dairy Farmers of America in Schulenburg, TX. We produce delicious shelf-stable cheese dips and salsas. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team to ensure smooth operations, drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and promote safety and continuous improvement. Shift

3rd shift, 8:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and guide production associates to meet daily goals.
• Promote a safety-first culture, engage in safety initiatives, and ensure safety training.
• Collaborate with management to meet financial goals.
• Ensure safety compliance and accountability.
• Conduct supervisory activities like interviews, performance evaluations, and timekeeping.
• Maintain food safety and regulatory standards, report issues per SQF Food Safety Code.
• Manage sanitation programs, equipment inspections, and 5S implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with other departments on problem-solving, new procedures, and product lines.
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience, preferably in dairy or food & beverage.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience with coaching and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement models.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
