Job Description

To plan, organize, implement, and control production in an organizational manner to ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and costs are met on products that are produced effectively, efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with our customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of associates to attain shift goals
• Effectively communicate with peers, associates, and leadership to optimize personnel and equipment use
• Produce quality parts for customers, focusing on continuous improvement
• Minimize downtime
• Lead by example to foster teamwork and cooperation
• Enforce policies, procedures, and systems
• Support a continuous improvement environment aligned with quality and safety policies
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following company policies
• Suggest improvements for production methods, equipment, and quality
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assisting workers as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; IMES experience a plus
• Strong planning, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• Effective interpersonal skills to motivate and influence
• Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively between Production and Management

Additional Information

Physical Demands

Regularly stand, handle, reach, walk, and stoop. Frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Working Conditions

Moderate noise level typical of manufacturing environments.
