Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift at the Olean, NY facility. You will direct department activities to achieve safety, quality and on-time delivery targets, while managing schedules, coaching staff, and coordinating cross-functional improvements.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Engineering, lean transformation experience, and SAP/SPC knowledge. This role requires US work authorization and offers benefits in line with company policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of Production Supervisor or Team Lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Lean transformation.
• Prior experience with production planning.
• Experience with SAP and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Direct departmental activities and initiate cross-functional improvements to safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.
• Assign daily work schedules for direct and indirect labor and monitor performance.
• Review in-process inventory and scheduling to prioritize machining and production.
• Coordinate attendance, overtime, vacation, training and time-off records; manage department budgets.
• Lead daily department meetings and provide training resources for new employees.
• Coordinate job bidding and assist Operations Manager in determining personnel needs.
