Metals USA is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor for the Horicon, WI location. The role oversees all production areas, supervises staff, and ensures orders meet customer specifications while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, strong math and communication skills, and experience with measuring tools. This is a full-time on-site position with company growth opportunities and a quarterly safety bonus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent required.
• Basic Mathematics skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Understand and use Safety Rules, OSHA standards.
• Judgment to apply company policies as needed.
• Read measuring tape and caliper.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Able to speak to groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all areas of production to ensure an efficient, cost-effective workflow from raw materials to finished products.
• Supervise production employees, including assigning work, monitoring quality, managing overtime, and enforcing safety standards.
• Ensure job orders meet customer specifications and quality expectations.
• Review daily production with the Plant Manager and communicate updates and performance results.
• Maintain regular attendance to fulfill Plant Supervisor duties.
• Communicate and enforce company policies consistently.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and development as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance to complete projects and meet goals on schedule.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
