Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks an Assembly Lead for the 2nd shift (2pm–10pm, Mon–Fri) in Horicon, WI. You will assist the Assembly Supervisor, guide assemblers, and ensure efficient production while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints and parts lists.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements with precision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on a seam-to-team basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in directing assembly line activities.
• Prepare work by studying instructions, specs and parts lists.
• Coordinate orders with material handling and Production Control.
• Position parts using templates or measurements; assemble components.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolve issues by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervisor.
• Contribute to scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and compliant procedures.
• Keep inventory of supplies and coordinate replenishment.
• Document production and quality actions and participate in team goals.
